School & SK8 Mini Bus

School and Skate Mini Bus!
Daily School Transport for Local Youths!
Aim: As an NGO we are targeting schools that have insufficient or no interior transportation options for local students! We believe learning should be available to all by whatever means of transport is needed! (See YouTube Video Link Below!) 
Our Mission: Lanka Skateaid is a registered NGO focusing on increasing attendance at the schools in poor rural communities. And at the same time offering free skateboarding classes and equipment to offer a new sport activity with Olympics potential!
We have established this Crowdfunding campaign to specifically help a local school in Poonagala, UVA Province in a very rural location where the primary activity is agricultural employment at the tea plantations.
This school in Namunakula has only 60 students as the attendance has dropped by almost 50% since 2021 due to the parents being displaced from work as a large group of elephants have been destroying the agricultural crops and employment. 
This situation for the parents with little or no income has made it impossible to get their kids to school for daily lessons. Also worth mentioning there is a public bus service but it is still unable to reach all of these remote areas! As a result of these circumstances we propose to acquire a Lanka Skateaid MiniBus that can help the local youths get to their classes and also offer transport to the Ballaketuwa Skatepark to enjoy some extracurricular activities in a safe and positive surroundings! . The climate is mild in Sri Lanka but as of October until mid March torrential rainy season begins creating even more difficulties for the children to travel to school! 
Therefore we are looking for support to acquire a School & SK8 MiniBus for the local youths son they can get to school for lessons and have the opportunity to try skateboarding!
